Who is responsible

Taahir Bhamjee, trading as NTVRLI, is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. NTVRLI is an independent sole-proprietor creative practice based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Privacy enquiries, access requests, objections and correction or deletion requests can be sent to studio@ntvrli.com or +27650354935. A fuller service address will be added when one is established; NTVRLI does not publish a private residential address on this website.

Information collected

• Project enquiries: name, email address, optional business and timing information, and the project brief supplied.
• Free website audits: email address, website URL, optional name, business and challenge, plus publicly available page text read from the supplied website.
• Security and measurement: limited technical information needed for rate limiting, security and first-party aggregate analytics. NTVRLI does not use advertising cookies or create a persistent visitor profile.
• Direct correspondence: information included when someone emails, calls, messages or works with NTVRLI.

Why it is used

Information is processed to respond to enquiries, assess and discuss possible work, provide the requested free audit, prevent abuse, measure whether the website is useful, maintain records required by law, and establish or defend legal rights. Supplying form information is voluntary, but NTVRLI cannot respond or produce an audit without the required fields.

Submitting an enquiry does not add anyone to a mailing list. NTVRLI does not sell personal information.

Processors and international transfers

NTVRLI uses Cloudflare to host and protect the website, Make to run the free-audit workflow, Resend to deliver website enquiries when enabled, and Apple iCloud to receive and store studio email. These providers may process information outside South Africa. NTVRLI limits the information sent to each provider and relies on their contractual and security safeguards.

The free-audit workflow sends the supplied details and public page text to Make. The website stores the completed audit for up to 90 days. It stores only a one-way email hash for monthly limits for up to 31 days and an IP-address hash for daily limits for up to one day.

Retention

• Enquiries that do not become client work: ordinarily up to 12 months after the last contact.
• Client project information and correspondence: ordinarily for the engagement and up to three years after completion.
• Contracts, invoices and records needed for tax or legal purposes: generally five years, or longer where an audit, dispute or law requires it.
• Free-audit results and rate-limiting records: the periods described above.
• Provider logs and backups: for the shortest practical operational period available under each service.

Information may be retained longer where required by law, agreed by contract, consented to, or reasonably needed for an active dispute. It is deleted or de-identified when no longer authorised or needed.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, a person may ask whether NTVRLI holds their information, request access or correction, object to processing, ask for deletion where retention is no longer authorised, or complain to the Information Regulator. NTVRLI may need to verify the requester’s identity before acting.
