Taahir Bhamjee is the responsible party for POPIA purposes and the head of the private body for PAIA purposes.
How to make a request
Email studio@ntvrli.com with the subject “Information request”. Describe the record or personal information, the right involved, the preferred response method and enough information to verify identity and locate the record. Do not email identity documents unless they are specifically requested through an agreed secure method.
Access may be refused or limited where legislation protects another person’s privacy, confidential commercial information, legal privilege, safety or another recognised interest. Prescribed PAIA fees may apply where legally permitted; no fee is charged merely to ask whether personal information is held.
Official forms and complaints
The Information Regulator publishes PAIA and POPIA guidance and prescribed forms at inforegulator.org.za. A concern should first be sent to NTVRLI so it can be addressed. A person may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
This page is not yet NTVRLI’s complete section 51 PAIA manual. The formal manual, Information Officer registration status and a non-residential service address remain launch-governance items to complete.
